The Love Revolution is a movement that promotes the highest calling: LOVE. We use meditation to usher in a heightened global consciousness and incite actualization. We merge ancient ritualistic practices and knowledge (like Yoga, theology, philosophy, and performance/visual art) with modern and scientific approaches (like CBT, Neuroscience, Metaphysics, AI, and AR) to move communities into states of enlightenment and true happiness. Our work centers heavily on the transference of knowledge of the True Self and universal laws. We see the limitless potential in all beings. We approach our work with humor and a focus on process rather than results.

We fight to end the global inequality of all species —setting in a new revolution through servant leadership. We host free community events, including mountaintop meditations, sound healing sessions, webinars, and art walks. Our personal development thought leadership and research are always free and open to the public.

Our Meditation Research Center is located in the Exarchia neighborhood of Athens, Greece. Visits are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please email hello@theloverevolution.com

If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

Hi, I’m Lewsh’a! (Founder & CEO of The Love Revolution)

I started The Love Revolution during the Summer of 2014 with the intent to fulfill a deep and global need —to spread love and happiness. I noticed that there was a lot of sadness and pain in the world and wanted to do something about it. It seemed like such a huge undertaking. What is the true meaning of love? Happiness? Moreover, do I love myself? Do I love other people? On top of all that, how was I going to fight against all the mal actors in our society- from (g)rapers and abusers to unethical corporations? As I grew deeper in consciousness, I began to answer these questions and found real (and practical) solutions. However, the most beneficial, non-divisive, and accessible solutions were meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy.

About Me:

I was born and raised in Adams Morgan, Washington, DC. After high school, I moved to NYC to complete my Bachelor of Science at St. John’s University, majoring in marketing with a minor in international studies, from which I graduated with honors. Post graduation, I had a short stint working at St. Elizabeth’s Psychiatric Hospital before moving to Athens, Greece where I worked as a model, actor, and performance artist. After traveling through many countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia, I decided to return to my hometown of DC. During this time, I worked in property management at The National Press Building but eventually found my way to the tech industry in the field of data privacy. While corporate life provided me with many financial benefits, I desired more autonomy in my life. Eventually, I transitioned to life as a full-time content marketing digital nomad, continuing my global expeditions around the world.

My Life and Meditation:

I took my first Yoga class when I was about 9 years old at the Sitar Center in Washington, DC. I still remember the sweet and loving nature of my teacher, Katie Tasker. During my college years, I resumed my practice via donation-based yoga classes with Yoga to The People in St. Mark’s.

And then, 2020 happened. One day, as I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, a voice inside told me to meditate (something I had only done once prior). Within minutes, I was transported to a world of complete euphoria! (All the breathwork via vocal training during my time as a performer had paid off.)

From that day onward, I meditated every day —sometimes for up to 8 hours lying in savasana. I was hooked and decided that I wanted to share this beautiful experience with the world, but I knew I needed authentic training to properly guide others.

After years of desire, I finally journeyed to the place where it all began —India. There, I completed an intense study of meditation, asanas, pranayama, and the philosophy of Yoga. In Rishikesh (The Yoga Capital of the World), I gained 500 hours of meditation teacher training. I also received an additional 200 hours of yoga teacher training in Athens, Greece —where I continue my daily yoga practice and live with my beautiful plants.

Meditation is a tool, that can:

  • Meditation is not just a practice of the mind; it’s also a journey that strengthens the body. To sit in stillness for extended periods requires physical endurance and stability, which is why yoga asanas, or poses, were developed—to prepare the body for meditation. These movements enhance flexibility, build strength, and improve posture, creating a solid foundation for mindfulness. Even gentle practices, like the restorative corpse pose, benefit those with limited physical function by promoting relaxation and circulation.

Beyond flexibility and strength, meditation can enhance physical power through visualization techniques. Research shows that imagining movements can activate muscle memory, improve focus, and even aid in physical recovery. Through the combination of asanas (postures) and meditation, you cultivate a body that is not only strong but also aligned, balanced, and resilient—ready to support your mental and spiritual growth.

  • Meditation is a powerful tool for enhancing imagination and visualization, allowing you to shape the life you desire. The mind cannot distinguish between perceived reality and actual reality, which is why techniques like “thinking warm” can help in cold environments. By harnessing this principle, meditation empowers you to envision and manifest your goals—encouraging you to “be delulu as a solulu.”

Beyond visualization, meditation also sharpens cognitive and analytical functions. Regular practice enhances focus, problem-solving skills, and creativity, giving you the mental clarity needed to innovate and thrive. It’s no surprise that many great thinkers, like Einstein and modern scientists, have used deep contemplation and focused introspection to unlock profound insights. Through meditation, you can cultivate the ability to access your innate potential for discovery, creativity, and transformative growth.

  • At its core, meditation is prolonged concentration, a discipline that sharpens your focus and trains your mind to stay unwaveringly present. When you master meditation, you master the art of focus and discipline, transferable skills that apply across all areas of life, from professional pursuits to personal growth. Meditation is a transformative skill that transcends categories, making meditation the ultimate tool for achieving success in any endeavor and realizing your fullest self.

The mastery of focus and discipline is the foundation for achieving success in any endeavor. Meditation serves as the bridge between the life you live and the life you are capable of creating. It empowers you to navigate challenges with clarity and perseverance, transforming obstacles into opportunities for growth. Over time, the consistency of this practice helps you align your actions with your aspirations, fostering a life of purpose, fulfillment, and boundless potential.

  • Meditation is a tool that can cultivate compassion and connection within your community. When you truly know yourself, you begin to see the interconnectedness of all beings, fostering a deeper sense of unity and empathy. This understanding naturally encourages a life rooted in non-violence and altruism, making you less likely to cause harm to others. Meditation also strengthens your ability to actively listen and engage with those around you, creating more meaningful relationships.

By quieting the mind, you gain the clarity to see past superficial differences and embrace shared humanity. This practice not only benefits your personal growth but also contributes to building a harmonious, collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. Through meditation, you become a beacon of positive change in your community. The ripple effects of your inner growth create a network of positive relationships that uplift everyone they touch.

My Personal Philosophy

To love yourself (and others), you must be equanimous.

Equanimity is very easy to attain but remains out of reach for most people.

Why?

It’s a simple, yet difficult, matter of making a choice —kind of like jumping off a giant cliff.

Equanimity, or calm, is not found internally or externally. Equanimity is your natural state of being. Equanimity is you!

Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Neuroscience, Stoicism, The Bible, The Vedas, All Text Regarded as Holy Scripture, and even Acting Principles all tell us the same thing —WE CHOOSE OUR EMOTIONAL STATE.
